In "Short Films", Quebec pianist David Jalbert brings together evocative works that give rise to images, scenes and characters.
From Couperin, Rameau and Bach to Debussy, Prokofiev and Schumann, this solo recital celebrates the narrative power of the piano: each work becomes a scene, a tableau or an inner short film, carried by David Jalbert’s virtuosity, clarity and expressive sensitivity.
