Play and Play Black

We, who were born in countries wealthy enough to meet all our basic needs, have the privilege of asking ourselves: Who am I? This quest sets its own agenda for us: to understand the world and its essence, to find our place in the realm of possibilities, to give ourselves a face other than the one presented by the group, by the community.

Dance of darkness, dance of light, Butoh allows this inner journey. In this labyrinth, this play of mirrors, emotions merge and… encounter many illusions.

"Play and Play Black" tells this story, like a fleeting snapshot that takes us back to the dawn of consciousness, our being yearning only to dance, to find its home, to exist in all its dimensions!
