New Creation

About
Anne Plamondon unveils a work-in-progress presentation of her ambitious new creation for nine performers, in which dance and cinema come together to challenge our perception of time. At the heart of the process, filmmaker Derek Branscomb’s camera - following his collaboration on the award-winning film Les mêmes yeux que toi - becomes a choreographic partner. It captures what the eye cannot catch, reveals the intimacy of bodies, and opens the stage onto a space-time shaped by echoes and fragments of memory.
Moving between collective power and suspended moments, a precise, physical, and visceral choreographic language explores what we inherit, what we choose to transform, and the traces our gestures will leave behind. Solos, duets, and ensemble movements create tensions between control and surrender, struggle and fluidity, discipline and instinct.
At the intersection of live performance and moving image, this evolving work creates a sensory experience in which past, present, and future intertwine.
