"LABOUR" is a creation of Emily Gualtieri and David Albert-Toth that embraces a minimalist and repetitive physicality.

Raw, sweaty, visceral, and absurd, it rejects all aesthetic politeness and imagines a shared power that is both intimate and collective, rooted in a plurality of female perspectives.

The piece brings women’s labor and the radical forces that build, sustain, reinvent, and transform to the forefront. Through simple yet unstable rhythms, it turns the body into a site of metamorphosis, confronting the fragmented realities of today through gestures of resistance, care, and collective strength.
