About the show
A creation of Marcelle Hudon and Quatuor Bozzini, Innamorati is a live music + theatre production imagining the love story of Zanni and Columbine through visual and sound environments combining shadow theatre, puppets, projections, and contemporary music.
Inspired by the music of three of the quartet’s collaborating composers, the project explores the multiple possibilities for exchange and interaction between puppets, everyday objects, and musicians: from the manifestation of the comic Zanni to knitting needles and birds on a line. Music by Ana Sokolovic, Cassandra Miller, Michael Oesterle, and improvisations by the quartet.
