- In addition to the official program, the CINARS Biennale presents OFF-CINARS showcase performances throughout the week at various venues in Montreal.
Companies wishing to present a show as part of OFF-CINARS must assume the following responsibilities:
- Register with the CINARS Biennale and rent a booth at Marketplace.
- Cover the production costs of the performance (venue rental, salaries and per diems for artists and technical crew, etc.).
- Make a portion of the tickets available to CINARS Biennale participants, if applicable.
- Cover the costs of transportation to your event, if applicable.

Pitch Sessions allows eight artists or companies, selected by a jury, to present a work-in-progress to programmers, artists and agents attending the CINARS Biennale.
Types of projects sought :
- projects whose creative process is not yet complete at the time of submission;
- relevant to performances that do not lend themselves to the format of the CINARS Biennale’s official showcase events (e.g. duration, set design, etc.).
